Dispute Resolution & Litigation – Senior Associate/Counsel

A leading Guernsey law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Dispute Resolution team. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-profile commercial litigation and insolvency matters, providing expert advice on disputes, enforcement of rights, and interpretation of legal documents and legislation. You will represent the team in courts, tribunals, and client interactions, while developing a deep understanding of each client’s business and mentoring junior lawyers. Responsibilities include drafting submissions, managing complex caseloads, and contributing to the firm’s marketing and training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with 5–10 years post-qualification experience and strong Guernsey law expertise. You will have proven experience in commercial litigation and insolvency matters, leading key aspects of large cases and managing smaller matters independently. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and a track record of handling multiple matters efficiently are required, as is discretion and professionalism in all client interactions.
