Employment Associate / Senior Associate (ref:1082)

The opportunity

Our client is a nationally recognised law firm with a top-ranked Employment team, and it is growing fast. It is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join at a level where you’ll have real influence on the team’s direction.

The team is ranked in both Chambers UK and Legal 500, with individuals named as leaders in their field. It has an excellent market reputation and a client base that includes well-known names in retail, the public sector and financial services.

The role

You’ll be a key addition to a busy team, handling high-quality, varied work, including:

• Advising employers on workplace issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructurings and redundancies
• Defending Employment Tribunal claims
• Providing a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment support to a strong client portfolio

About you

• A qualified solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE in employment law
• Experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters
• Commercial, client-focused and confident managing your own caseload
• Ambitious, and keen to build a career with a growing national practice
