In-house Legal Counsel (Sports Sector)

This is a very exciting in-house legal role for commercial lawyer, looking to work in the sports sector.

You will be joining an established in-house legal team and working directly with the Managing Director on a range of legal issues. You will often be the main point of contact for day-to-day legal queries.

You will need to be an England and Wales qualified Solicitor with either private practice or in-house experience in commercial contracts. You will need to be comfortable with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts. Additional experience in data protection, technology, IP or the sports sector would be an advantage as would some basic legal knowledge or experience of employment, litigation or regulation matters. This role may suit an NQ but equally the company are open to seeing applications from candidates with much more experience than this provided you are happy with the remit of the role.

You must be someone who is self-motivated and proactive and able to communicate well both with colleagues and other stakeholders. Working well under pressure and time management / organisational skills are essential for this role.

This position is a hybrid role so you should ideally live in the South West / Midlands.
