Firstly, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the roles she brings to her candidates. You can tell she doesn’t blanket her whole network for each position, but rather seeks out individuals she knows would be truly interested in and qualified for the job. She also provides personalised and insightful advice for each interview in the process that I can personally say was incredibly helpful. And, perhaps mostly importantly, she is a great communicator. She never left me guessing where I was with a position – she provided regular updates even if just to say, ‘no update yet, but I expect to hear more by x date’. This very much helped alleviate the anxiety associated with long interview processes.

Second, she is a FANTASTIC person. Interviewing can be a stressful process and she was there every step of the way to provide whatever support I needed, including running practice questions for upcoming interviews or just to chat about anything I may be concerned about. I’ve never had a more pleasant relationship with a recruiter – I could tell she was genuinely happy for me when the offer came through.
