A well-established South West law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join and help lead its growing Commercial Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer seeking high-quality work, genuine autonomy and the chance to play an influential role within a collaborative and ambitious team.
The Opportunity
The Commercial Property team advises a broad range of business clients, landowners, developers and investors across Devon and Somerset, handling a varied caseload of transactional and commercial property matters. The team is non-contentious, focusing entirely on commercial and property transactions, and benefits from strong relationships across the wider firm.
The firm is open to candidates with broad commercial property experience, as well as those who can bring a particular area of expertise or sector specialism that would further strengthen the team.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Manage a varied caseload of high-quality commercial property matters
- Build and develop long-standing client relationships
- Take a leading role within an established team
- Mentor and support junior lawyers and colleagues
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices
About You
Applications are welcomed from experienced Commercial Property Solicitors, Legal Executives or senior lawyers with a strong track record in commercial real estate work.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in commercial property matters
- The ability to manage files independently with confidence
- Experience supervising, mentoring or managing others
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for team leadership
