Senior Associate / Managing Associate – Employment (ref:1028)

I am working with a highly regarded commercial law firm to find a Senior Associate or Managing Associate to join its growing Employment team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised practice with a strong reputation in the market, advising a broad client base ranging from PLCs to SMEs, as well as senior executives and professionals. The wider employment team is substantial, highly ranked in the legal directories, and supported by specialist expertise across complementary practice areas including pensions and immigration.

The London team is known for delivering commercial, pragmatic and responsive advice across the full spectrum of employment law and HR advisory matters, including:

• disciplinary and grievance issues
• unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims
• redundancy and restructuring projects
• employment tribunal proceedings
• strategic advice to senior leadership teams and boards

The team also has notable experience supporting the employment aspects of corporate transactions, working closely with corporate colleagues on acquisitions, disposals and investments. This includes TUPE advice, due diligence, commercial risk analysis, and the drafting and negotiation of service agreements and settlement agreements.

Sector experience includes financial services, hospitality, transport and professional services.

About you:

• Senior Associate or Managing Associate level
• Ideally 5+ years’ PQE
• Strong technical employment law experience
• Commercial mindset and excellent communication skills
• Energetic, collaborative and client-focused approach
