Are you a commercial lawyer with some experience in the retail sector and looking to make a move? Perhaps you’re a generalist commercial contracts lawyer and are looking to specialise now. Either way this could be a great opportunity to take that next step up with a firm who value their employees. 

Our client is an excellent mid-market national law firm with an international reach and regularly win awards for their culture and work. Their commercial team is already very well-established and act for a number of FTSE 100 clients. This particular role has a focus on retail sector clients so you will be dealing with complex commercial contracts work including supplier contracts, outsourcing agreements, brand licensing and franchising. 

This role might appeal if you feel ready to take on more responsibility for clients and are starting to work more autonomously (although there is plenty of support and supervision on hand!). You will have the opportunity to get involved in BD and also to manage junior colleagues. There are often opportunities for client secondments within the commercial team (either physical or virtual) if this is something that is attractive.
