A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious non-contentious Construction Associate (1–3 PQE) to join its growing Bristol team. London is also an option, although Bristol is preferred. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-profile, complex infrastructure and energy projects across the UK and internationally, alongside a highly regarded partner known for their strategic insight and collaborative leadership.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on major infrastructure, energy, and development projects from inception to completion with a focus on institutional developers and renewable energy infrastructure.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction and engineering contracts, including NEC, JCT, and FIDIC forms.
- Supporting clients across sectors including transport, utilities, renewable energy, and technology.
- Working closely with a partner who is recognised for their work on cutting-edge projects and commitment to mentoring junior lawyers.
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
- Strong drafting skills and a commercial mindset.
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues.
- A desire to work on complex, high-value matters in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
