Construction Associate (Non-Contentious)

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious non-contentious Construction Associate (1–3 PQE) to join its growing Bristol team. London is also an option, although Bristol is preferred. This is a rare opportunity to work on high-profile, complex infrastructure and energy projects across the UK and internationally, alongside a highly regarded partner known for their strategic insight and collaborative leadership.

What you’ll be doing:

• Advising on major infrastructure, energy, and development projects from inception to completion with a focus on institutional developers and renewable energy infrastructure.
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction and engineering contracts, including NEC, JCT, and FIDIC forms.
• Supporting clients across sectors including transport, utilities, renewable energy, and technology.
• Working closely with a partner who is recognised for their work on cutting-edge projects and commitment to mentoring junior lawyers.

What we’re looking for:

• 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
• Strong drafting skills and a commercial mindset.
• A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues.
• A desire to work on complex, high-value matters in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
