Are you a senior financial crime lawyer with expertise in AML, Sanctions and Compliance?
We are working with a Global firm to find a Deputy General Counsel, Financial Crime. In this role, you be crucial in ensuring that the Firm complies with its obligations relating to economic crime, including anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery and corruption, anti-fraud, and sanctions. This position involves acting as a trusted advisor to the Firm’s partners on complex, sensitive, and high-risk regulatory and compliance issues, with a particular focus on AML and economic crime matters.
The role will also include leading the Firm’s AML and sanctions reporting, regulatory audits, and global risk assessments, while ensuring continuous improvement of the Firm’s policies, controls, and procedures.
To be considered, you must have at least 10 PQE in Financial Crime matter, including AML and Sanctions and have worked within the General Counsel’s team with a strong grasp of financial compliance.
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office is a requirement. This role will come with a leading salary band + outstanding benefits
