Are you an experienced environmental lawyer ready to take the next step in your career? A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer (6+ PQE) to work closely with a highly regarded Environmental Partner.
About the Team
This multi-disciplinary team includes planning lawyers, environmental specialists, and consultants who advise across all development sectors. Known for its pragmatic, commercial approach, the team supports clients from project inception through to advocacy, offering expertise in:
- Environmental permitting
- Waste and water regulation
- Contaminated land
- Climate change law
- Biodiversity and sustainability
- Regulatory defence and compliance
The team collaborates closely with commercial, corporate, and real estate departments, supporting high-profile clients in development, clean energy, and waste sectors.
The Role
You’ll work alongside a nationally recognised environmental law partner, advising on complex regulatory matters including:
- Waste and pollution regulation
- Environmental permitting and enforcement defence
- Climate change and emissions
- Contaminated land and water resources
- Crisis and risk management
Experience in real estate and corporate transactional support is essential as a key aspect of this role will be running the transactional support and environmental due diligence work. You will also need a strong background in environmental compliance and regulatory defence. This role offers the opportunity to join a reasonably small team and play a key strategic role on a wide range of national and international work.
