Head of Office Residential Conveyancing

An established, forward-thinking legal practice is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to lead one of its expanding regional offices in Bath or Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to step into a Head of Office role within a modern, supportive, and highly collaborative environment.

The Role

You’ll lead a small, close‑knit conveyancing team where lawyers genuinely know their clients and work together to deliver an exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include supervising junior colleagues, running your own caseload, and contributing to the continued growth of the office.

The firm operates with fixed fees, no chargeable hour targets, and a clear structure for regular exchange‑based bonuses. Strong supervision frameworks and a paperless, tech-forward approach, including the use of AI, ensure efficiency without compromising client care.

Working Environment

This is predominantly an office‑based role, designed to maintain a supportive, lively atmosphere and strong team collaboration. Core hours are 9:00–17:30, with a genuine emphasis on work/life balance (everyone is encouraged to leave on time).
