Residential Development Associate / Senior Associate 

An established and highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Development Lawyer to join its growing Residential Property and New Homes team in Bristol.

This role suits a qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer with 5+ years’ PQE, looking to take the next step in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment with clear progression opportunities. You will work closely with colleagues across a wider Real Estate practice, handling a high-quality, technical caseload at the intersection of residential development, finance and investment.

The position offers exposure to complex development projects, plot sales, site set‑up, lender and bridging finance work, portfolio refinances, infrastructure agreements and other sophisticated residential transactions. You will manage matters with a high degree of autonomy, while also supervising junior team members and contributing to business development and client relationship management.

The successful candidate will be commercially astute, confident advising developers, lenders and investors, and committed to delivering outstanding client service. Strong drafting skills, the ability to manage files independently, and an interest in building a niche or sector specialism are essential.
