Senior Know-How / Knowledge Lawyer – Financial Services Regulatory

I am working on an exciting opportunity with a leading international law firm seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to support its Financial Services Regulatory practice.

This is a strategic role at the heart of a high-performing team, focused on delivering market-leading know-how, driving innovation, and shaping best practice across a complex and evolving regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining high-quality know-how, precedents, and practical guidance

• Driving knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote consistency and excellence

• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and translating them into actionable insights

• Supporting lawyers on complex technical queries and emerging legal issues

• Leading and contributing to strategic projects and innovation initiatives, including legal tech and AI adoption

• Building strong relationships with partners and fee earners to align knowledge services with client needs

About you:

• Strong academic background with 7–10 years’ PQE (guideline)

• Solid experience in Financial Services Regulatory work within a leading law firm

• Deep understanding of UK and EU regulatory frameworks (including FCA and PRA rules)

• Commercially minded with excellent project management skills

• Collaborative, proactive, and able to influence at senior levels

• Prior knowledge/PSL experience is advantageous but not essential
