Are you an experienced Employment Solicitor looking for more than your next role?

We’re seeking a commercially minded Employment Solicitor with at least five years’ PQE who is ready to take on a strategic role, combining high-quality legal work with business development, leadership and the opportunity to influence the direction of the practice.

The Opportunity

As part of a respected Litigation Department, you’ll take a leading role in developing the firm’s Employment Law offering, working closely with colleagues across multiple offices to build client relationships, generate new opportunities and continue the growth of the department.

This is an autonomous position with genuine scope to make your mark.

Your role will include:

• Advising employers and individuals on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Developing and growing the firm’s Employment Law practice.
• Building long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to identify cross-referral opportunities.
• Supporting marketing and business development initiatives to raise the profile of the department.
• Helping to shape the future direction of the Employment team.

About You

We’re keen to hear from ambitious Employment Solicitors who enjoy building relationships as much as delivering excellent legal advice.

You’ll ideally have:

• A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in Employment Law.
• Strong technical knowledge across contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• A commercial and proactive approach to client service.
• Experience or enthusiasm for business development and networking.
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• A client following would be welcomed but is by no means essential.
