Wills & Probate Solicitor (ref:1022)

An opportunity to join a growing Private Client team 

A well-established regional law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to join its friendly and growing Wills & Probate team in Somerset.  

Working closely with experienced Private Client Partners, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise while managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support (depending on your level of experience). 

The role 

You will advise clients on a range of Wills, Probate, Tax and Trust matters, providing a high-quality and professional service while developing your technical knowledge and client relationships. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own Wills & Probate caseload with support (as needed) 
• Assisting Senior Solicitors and Partners 
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients 
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships 
• Supporting the growth and development of the Private Client team 
• Maintaining accurate time recording and working towards billing targets 
• Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and professional requirements

About you 

We are looking for someone with experience in Wills and Probate. The firm are open regarding the level of experience so this role could suit someone who is due to qualify or recently qualified to someone who can run their own caseload without support/supervision. 

You will be:

• Discreet and trustworthy 
• Commercially aware and committed to delivering excellent service 
• Keen to develop your legal knowledge and skills 
• Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
