Real Estate (Energy & Utilities) | Senior Associate / Associate Director (ref:1109)

We’re working with a leading international law firm that is growing its London Real Estate team and looking for an experienced lawyer to join its Energy & Energy Transition practice. It’s a chance to work on high-value, strategically important projects in a genuinely supportive and collegiate environment.

The work

• Investments and refinancings of renewable and energy infrastructure portfolios
• Acquisitions, development and sales of wind and solar assets
• DCO and CPO projects for major electricity network operators
• Land and consenting strategy for major infrastructure programmes

You’ll act for institutional investors, funders and developers across solar, wind, battery storage, energy from waste and hydro, as well as English and Welsh electricity, water and gas companies. You’ll also work closely with colleagues in construction, disputes, planning, corporate and funds and finance, as part of a Real Estate team of 100+ fee-earners.

About you

• Senior Associate or Associate Director level with Real Estate experience from a well-respected practice
• Demonstrable experience of energy or utilities projects
• A genuine passion for the energy transition
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with clients and colleagues across teams
