Award winning, Top 50 Law firm are recruiting a Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer. This top tier IP team of non-contentious Intellectual Property Lawyers advises on the full gamut of the development and exploitation of IP and IP in contracts. Specialising in high-quality work for both commercial and public sector clients including FTSE 250 and household names clients in the retail, media, technology, sport and energy sectors. They are investing in and growing their IP team and are looking to further strengthen the team with an IP Lawyer who is driven and passionate about IP.
The Work
Broad range of work in Intellectual Property including :
- IP transactions, such as licensing, assignments and franchising
- advice on structuring IP ownership
- R&D, collaboration agreements (both academic and private sector) and joint ventures
- intellectual property audits
- support for broader transactions
Opportunity
The role will involve transactional investment work, including dealing with financings, and asset management of commercial assets in a variety of sectors, so prior experience in these areas will be required. There may also be some opportunity to get involved in development projects.

You:
- Solid experience in IP Law with at least 8 pqe (although our client will consider those with more or less experience)
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload and support junior colleagues
