A well-established national law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Bristol. The team has a strong reputation in the market and works with a wide range of commercial and corporate clients across a broad variety of industries and sectors. This is an opportunity to join a friendly and collegiate team where you will have the opportunity to develop your own caseload while working alongside experienced litigators on more complex and substantial disputes.
About the role
The role offers genuine variety, with the team handling a broad range of commercial disputes including:
- Contract disputes
- Professional negligence
- Banking disputes
- Intellectual property
- Defamation
- Fraud
- Procurement
- Partnership disputes
- Shareholder disputes
You will have responsibility for your own caseload across the team’s areas of expertise, while also supporting Partners and senior colleagues on more complex and larger-scale claims. There will also be opportunities to become involved in business development and contribute to the continued growth and profile of the practice.
About you
The firm is seeking to hire a qualified dispute resolution solicitor with approximately 1–3 years’ PQE, with a good grounding in Commercial Litigation matters.
You will be:
- A confident and enthusiastic litigator with a genuine interest in developing your career in commercial disputes.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to use your initiative.
- Comfortable managing your own workload and prioritising competing demands.
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Committed to providing a high-quality service and building strong client relationships.
- Ambitious and keen to develop your technical expertise and professional reputation.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
