A leading national law firm in Exeter is looking to appoint an Associate to join its established Planning and Environmental team. About the role
The successful candidate will join an established Planning and Environmental team, advising clients on a broad range of planning matters. The role will involve working on interesting and varied planning instructions, advising clients on planning issues and supporting the delivery of strategic projects. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced planning lawyers and colleagues across the wider firm, gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and sectors. There will also be scope to develop client relationships and contribute to the continued growth and profile of the practice.
About you
We are looking for a planning solicitor with solid experience gained within a reputable planning practice.
You are likely to have:
- Experience advising on a broad range of planning matters.
- Strong technical planning knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships and your own profile.
- A proactive and collaborative approach.
This opportunity could suit a Solicitor or Associate (up to around 5 PQE) looking for a new challenge within an established national planning practice, particularly someone keen to continue developing their technical expertise and client-facing experience.
