Data & Cyber Associate / Senior Associate (ref:1041)

Cyber is the fastest-growing, highest-stakes area of insurance and technology law, and our client wants you leading from the front.  We’re working with an international law firm to recruit a solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level, to join a genuine market-leading Data & Cyber team known for combining deep incident-response capability with serious insurance market know-how.

What you’ll  be doing:

• Advising insurers, insureds and brokers on breach response coverage, policy interpretation, claims strategy
• Running complex, multi-insurer cyber coverage matters (with Partner support as appropriate)
• Getting hands-on with live incident response,  ransomware, extortion
• Advising on notification strategy and regulatory engagement, including ICO-facing work
• Working directly with CISOs, brokers, forensic providers and in-house counsel, real client contact
• Senior Associate level, supervising junior lawyers

What they’re looking for:

• Solid experience in cyber breach response, insurance coverage, and/or cyber/tech claims, private practice, in-house or comparable
• Comfortable advising on breach response insurance policies
• A confident communicator to work closely with Partners and Clients alike
• Commercially minded, well-organised, and collaborative
