This is a great opportunity either for an experienced Real Estate PSL but equally for a senior level real estate lawyer who is looking to transition out of fee earning and into a knowledge management role.
You will be joining a firm that has an established PSL function so although you will be the only PSL based in Scotland, you won’t be the only PSL or even the only Real Estate PSL in the firm. Our client is very much in growth phase of their development in Scotland (although has already developed a fantastic reputation for real estate work) and so this is an excellent opportunity to be a key strategic part of the team at a relatively early stage. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to lead the Knowledge Management function in Scotland and will be given significant autonomy to develop your own initiatives for doing this.
The team is Scotland does a broad range of domestic and cross-border commercial property work including acquisitions, disposals, development and secured lending on behalf of a range of clients. The team are also known for their expertise in the renewable energy sector.
You will need:
- Minimum of 5 PQE direct fee earning experience from a well-regarded real estate team or relevant knowledge management experience if you have already made this transition
- Admitted either in Scotland (or dual qualified)
- Excellent organisational skills
- Clear communication skills and experience in delivering presentations.
- Ability to present and deliver knowledge and training to take into account hybrid working
- Strong research, drafting and mentoring skills
- An interest in online and digital resources and their use in a real estate context
