The Team
You will be joining a smaller sub team in the Real Estate Group. The team is extremely well regarded in the renewable energy space across the whole of the UK and the team is led by a partner who is a leading individual in this field. All their lawyers in the team are passionate about renewable energy.
You
You should have a solid real estate background with at least 3 years’ experience in real estate work. The firm are open to recruiting someone at senior or managing associate level. At the more junior end it may be that you are already operating within the renewable energy space and are looking to join a leading team, or it could be that you have gained a solid general real estate background and are now looking to develop a specialism in renewable energy. At the more senior end it is essential that you have some energy sector experience already.
Your work will include drafting option agreements and leases on a wide range of clean energy projects (including wind, solar, battery storage, electric vehicles, and hydro) as well as acting in relation to the financing of clean energy projects.
The role will involve working closely with colleagues in other teams as well as the opportunity for lots of client contact and early responsibility.
Flexibility
This role is very flexible so you can be full or part time and can be based in the office or predominantly remotely or a mix of the two.
