Senior Private Client Lawyer – Probate (ref:901)

Are you an experienced and technically expert Probate Solicitor looking for the next step in your career? 

Our client is a highly regarded regional law firm with an outstanding reputation for their private client work. Their specialist teams deliver exceptional advice to individuals, families, trustees and charitable organisations. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Senior Lawyer to join its established Probate team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on complex, high-value estate administration work while playing a key role in mentoring less experienced colleagues and helping to shape the continued success of a respected and collaborative team.

The Role 

Working alongside experienced specialists across the wider Private Client department, you’ll advise on a broad range of sophisticated probate matters, including:

• Administration of large and complex taxable estates.
• Estates involving business and agricultural assets.
• Multi-asset and cross-border estate administrations.
• Probate matters involving charitable beneficiaries.
• Preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney where required.
• Supervising and mentoring less experienced solicitors and paralegals.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas to deliver an exceptional client experience, every time.

About You 

You will be an experienced Probate Solicitor who is looking to combine high-quality legal work with genuine career progression and work-life balance.

You’ll ideally have:

• A passion for probate work, appreciating the importance of delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Significant experience in probate and estate administration.
• Strong technical expertise across complex private client matters.
• Experience supervising or mentoring less experienced fee earners.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm and openness to collaborate, with a naturally curious and proactive approach to your work.
