A leading commercial law firm is seeking an Associate to join its growing Construction & Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a non-contentious construction lawyer who wants to work on high-value development, infrastructure and energy projects across the UK.
You will advise a broad client base including funders, developers, contractors and suppliers, on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters. The role offers exposure to complex, intellectually stimulating work and significant scope to develop your technical expertise, sector knowledge and professional network.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Managing construction transactions and project deliverables across multiple sectors.
• Advising clients on contracts, risk, options and timescales, while building strong long?term relationships.
• Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and associated construction documents.
• Supporting business development through networking, seminars and thought leadership.
• Collaborating with senior colleagues and providing guidance to junior team members.
• Contributing to the team’s profile and the wider firm’s strategic growth.
About You:
You will be a qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in non-contentious construction work. Confidence, initiative and strong client management skills are essential. An interest in sectors such as real estate development, energy, utilities or infrastructure is welcomed.
