Are you a commercial lawyer who loves the precedents, the drafting, the “how do we actually do this well” questions more than the billable hour treadmill? This could be your move.
I am partnering with a Top 50 Law Firm to find a part-time Professional Support Lawyer to join their Commercial team. The role is available across the London, Oxford and Bristol offices.
What you’ll do
- Own and develop the commercial precedents and know-how library
- Keep the team ahead of the curve with current awareness, legal updates and practical briefings on commercial law developments
- Design and deliver training that fee-earners actually need
- Work closely with partners to shape how knowledge is captured, shared and reused across the practice
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years PQE in commercial contracts, ideally within a well-respected firm
- A genuine interest in knowledge work and a desire to help guide the next generation of lawyers
- Strong drafting and communication skills, with the judgement to turn legal complexity into practical guidance
- PSL experience welcomed but not essentia
